WHO the Big Show, Radio Show – Clean water in Iowa series

Heartland Co-op sponsored a visit from the Clean Water in Iowa Starts Here campaign on October 6th at Fred Martens' farm in Winterset, IA.

The event was broadcast on Newsradio 1040 WHO on the WHO Big Show as a way to showcase Iowa’s leadership in the effort to improve water quality in the Mississippi and Missouri River Watersheds.

Heartland Co-op CEO meets with Sonny Perdue

On September 3rd, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue, traveled to Iowa to see firsthand the damage caused by the hurricane-like derecho last month and the ongoing severe drought. Afterwards, Tom Hauschel, spoke with Sonny on the impact this event has had on Iowa Co-op's.
